- Is SmartEntry ANPR / LPR system Chinese?
No. SmartEntry’s ANPR/LPR system is not an OEM or imported solution. It is designed and developed in India
under the "Make in India" initiative. There is also a STQC ANPR available.
- Does SmartEntry Lite require a separate NVR?
No, it works with your existing NVR. Additional software controller is provided that connects to your LAN.
- Will license plate capture work in night?
Yes, it works equally well during the day and night, too. It automatically adjusts to low light.
- What is its efficiency?
98% (99% with AI enabled). It does not work for obscured (dusty/dirty) license plates, small fonts, extreme weather conditions.
- Is our license plate data safe?
100%. All your data is safely stored at your location and is never sent out on the
internet or in the cloud. We use a secured VPN with end-to-end encryption.
- Can I view this from my mobile?
Yes. Our gate entry software is fully web-based, allowing you to access the dashboard from anywhere in the world
or via the system’s IP address on the same Wi-Fi network.
A VPN client - available for all major platforms—needs to be installed to enable access.
- What types of license plates are supported?
Our license plate capture software supports cars, two-wheelers, rickshaws, trucks, and tempos.
It can accurately read white, HSRP, yellow, green (EV), blue and black (militry) license plates.
- Do I have to pay yearly fees?
No. Our gate entry software is available with a one-time license fee and includes
free updates and support for the first year. After that, you may opt for an AMC if needed.
- Can I install this myself?
Yes, definitely. You can easily install it yourself by following the step-by-step instructions
in our user manual and product videos.
- Can I use your software with my existing CCTV camera?
No. Our software is designed to work only with our cameras, and our cameras are not compatible with
third-party NVRs, except in the Lite version.
- Which locations do you serve?
Currently, we have a service network in Gujarat and are actively expanding across India.
We can ship the product anywhere in the country; however, basic installation will need to be handled by a local CCTV
technician at your location. Our team will provide all possible remote assistance as needed.
