SmartEntry is available in two flavors. SmartEntry ANPR and SmartEntry Lite. SmartEntry ANPR is a full-fledged license plate recognition software, while SmartEntry Lite as the name suggests does not do automatic ANPR but it operates like a LPR friendly camera.
SmartEntry ANPR detects vehicle's license plates at real-time. It captures a still photo of both the vehicle (car, bike, truck, rickshaw etc) and its number plate. This information is stored in our automatic gate entry software which is part of the SmartEntry ANPR setup. 
This software allows you to see live entries and also search for any particular vehicle history from the database. It can also be integrated with your existing boom barrier hardware and can trigger the boom barrier via its existing remote control. It uses our custom hardware and software processor unit which receives the data from the high resolution ANPR camera and detects the license plates. The software user interface is web-based and it can be viewed via desktop or mobile both locally and remotely.
SmartEntry LITE works with your existing CCTV setup. Just like your existing IPCAMs our special LPR camera will connect to the NVR. This is an ONVIF compliant camera so it will work with any brand NVR that supports ONVIF. You will be able to record high quality footage of vehicles day and night. 
The focus here is to have a clear view of number plates. Our camera will work as a special function camera that will assist your existing CCTV set-up. The existing NVR / IPCamera that you have could be of any known or unknown brands (like Hikvision, CPPlus, Dahua etc). They use a wide-angle lens that captures a larger area. They are often designed to give a bright scene (day & night). This is where they fail to capture clear number plates.
